Mariah Palantzas, founder and Creative Director of Studio Vieto, brings an international perspective shaped by a diverse career in Canada, Austria, and beyond. Her Master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Waterloo focused on the urban planning of Vienna’s historic centre, fueling her interest in how people “move in a realm between old and new”. Having lived in Europe for over 6 years, the question of what makes a place a “home” resonates in each design. Mariah’s expertise is reflected in the careful, detail-driven results of everything she touches. Her unique vision focuses on creating spaces that envoke nostalgia and are intuitively livable.
